Is this hypnosis or something else - please help?

Im at a party talking to this older man, I want to tell him something he calls his wife over who stands close to me. I stare at them, I cant focus on them, i try to recall my story but my mind is a jumble. I mumble but it sounds incoherent, I try to finish my sentences but I cant. My head gets heavier and heavier. I am sort of conscious - my eyes are closed and I let my head drop so my chin is down. I hear the guy say "I'm getting a drink". He proceeds to say "Take her over......" but he doesn't finish his sentence. My eight year old daughter bolts from the kids room (Its a family party, Im there with my kids) and throws herself at me which jolts me awake and I stare at my smiling loving 8 year old daughters face and I am SO happy to see her and filled with joy, she whispers "mummy". The guy stomps off muttering, and the woman looks alarmed and steps back. What is this? I wasn't drinking, or taking an prescribed drugs or any illegal ones I don't do that. I know this guy and there is something odd about him. Can anyone help me. What happened?
