TurboTax CYA?

I think we have some TurboTax employees on here playing CYA. Many of us expecting a direct deposit got a big surprise this week and last in that by using TurboTax and having fee deducted from our returns – we now have to wait on average another 45 days for our stimulus tax rebate check (via check). For every complaint or question posted there is at least one response (with similar verbiage) basically stating that “it’s free money so chill out”. Also, I notice a few of the posts regarding this issue have been deleted. Nice attitude TurboTax – what you couldn’t have sent an email forewarning use of the issue?
