On a 1995 Chevrolet Camaro with the small v6 3.4 does this car uses a PCV valve or just a elbow?

I have this question because I have been running the car with no pcv valve or nothing to redirect the blow by ges, and some people had told me that if you run your car with no PCV valve you may not get the best fuel economy that the car is able to get. But the main question is if I should put a PCV valve or just a elbow on the valve cover.
